Cry If I Want To

It's my party, and
I'll cry if I want to,
cry if I want to,
Cry if I want to.
You would cry too if it happened to you...

For some strange unknown reason I have this song stuck in my head and now I am listening to it.
I love this song and I remember first hearing it on Alvin and the Chipmunks when The Chipettes are singing it. I loved the song ever since.

Okay moving on,
I have quite a lot of things to write about.
First why my previous post was called "I Have One Ber-Nana Left". Well I was about to write on my blog and my sister was sitting next to me eating chopped up bananas with her ice cream. I forgot what I was about to do and suddenly she says "Wait, Roxy! I have one ber-nana left!" Instead os saying banana she said ber-nana. We thought it was so funny, don't you? No? Well I guess it was a had to be there moment...

Next the book review I plan to do is on a book called What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell. I really enjoyed reading this book that was set in post WWII.
A short summary-

When Evie's father returned home from World War II, the family fell back into its normal life pretty quickly. But Joe Spooner brought more back with him than just good war stories. When movie-star handsome Peter Coleridge, a young ex-GI who served in Joe's company in postwar Austria, shows up, Evie is suddenly caught in a complicated web of lies that she only slowly recognizes. She finds herself falling for Peter, ignoring the secrets that surround him . . . until a tragedy occurs that shatters her family and breaks her life in two.

As she begins to realize that almost everything she believed to be a truth was really a lie, Evie must get to the heart of the deceptions and choose between her loyalty to her parents and her feelings for the man she loves. Someone will have to be betrayed.

The question is . . . who?

Some pretty serious stuff, huh?

Now onto ELF. In a previous post about Inglot cosmetics I wrote how it would be difficult to return to Drugstore make-up after going to Inglot. Well ELF has changed my mind. Like any other cosmetic brand, ELF has it's pros and cons. A Con would definitely be how their brushes can break easily. But a pro is how great some of their eyeshadows can be. For example, the Punk Funk is awesome. I love the pink in it and the purple. They have great pigmentation as long as you have a primer for them. Which ELF also has though I have yet to try it. I hope to try it soon seeing that the Kmart by my house recently began selling ELF. I went on Sunday and they only had one left. I seriously don't know what's wrong with me that I didn't get it. It was as though I wasn't really there, how could I not be paying attention? I went back yesterday and it was of course gone! Lesson learned. I've been wanting to try the primer out for a while and it was right there yet I didn't get it. *Sigh* I guess it was meant for someone else. But next time I see it I will get it and let you know how it works. If you want to see the photos of the ELF Punk Funk and some awesome nail polishes I got just click here.

Well that's all for this post, I'll be back shortly with another post about my awesome Saturday!
Au revoir!
